Help? Anyone? Important!

Hey!
So I haven't commented for quite a while, and my last journal was depressing so I thought that I ought to change it
In my last poll I asked, "Do you HAVE to have photoshop in order to do good artist?" And I got very useful results. Thankyou very much to whoever answered my poll, it helped me a lot I've decided to try out the trial of Photoshop CS3, and if I like it more than GIMP I'll buy (or purchase from my friend) the 'real' version of it ^______^ Sai cropped up many times in my conversations with friends, so I might try that one out too.

Does anyone know of any tutorials on drawing mecha, spaceships, etc? I really want to try out new things, and sci-fi is one of them It would be awesome if you could help me ^______^

Eurgh, I still have a really really long to do list to complete, and when it is complete I could FINALLY start on my personal to do list xD Going to gather references for the time being, because I want my next not-on-the-to-do-list picture to be really good. If it isn't, I'll scrap it and start again Mwahahahaha.

I absoloutely adore the writers, artists and creators of the magazine ImagineFX; they are really helpful, and I inspired to become a better artist because of them ^____^

I really really want to improve my french! That's why I'm going to talk more french to french people and shizzle xD Must...improve...Does anyone know of any really easy french books? Or good french music? Or...ANYTHING FRENCH?!

So I've done a little study on human skin, and I decided to pain a picture of my best friend Kirstie and...Human skin is really pink o_O I never knew just how pink it was! I read an interesting theory that it's because of the blood underneath your skin; when light hits you skin, the blood below is more viewable. Really interesting...

Going to be changing my style a lil' to a more 'realistic' one, just for experimentation xD

Today feels like a day that should be the beginning of a new year; I had totally deleted all the pictures that were really old and crap from my memory stick and...wow, I feel so much better! I could easily see how much I've improved, and clearing them out gives a whole lot more free space in my memory stick. I feel much better about my art, and I'm 'banishing' the old me.

Meh, pretty long journal to be fair.
