So I haven't commented for quite a while, and my last journal was depressing so I thought that I ought to change it
In my last poll I asked, "Do you HAVE to have photoshop in order to do good artist?" And I got very useful results. Thankyou very much to whoever answered my poll, it helped me a lot
I've decided to try out the trial of Photoshop CS3, and if I like it more than GIMP I'll buy (or purchase from my friend) the 'real' version of it ^______^ Sai cropped up many times in my conversations with friends, so I might try that one out too.
Does anyone know of any tutorials on drawing mecha, spaceships, etc? I really want to try out new things, and sci-fi is one of them

Eurgh, I still have a really really long to do list to complete, and when it is complete I could FINALLY start on my personal to do list xD Going to gather references for the time being, because I want my next not-on-the-to-do-list picture to be really good. If it isn't, I'll scrap it and start again

So I've done a little study on human skin, and I decided to pain a picture of my best friend Kirstie and...Human skin is really pink o_O I never knew just how pink it was! I read an interesting theory that it's because of the blood underneath your skin; when light hits you skin, the blood below is more viewable. Really interesting...
Going to be changing my style a lil' to a more 'realistic' one, just for experimentation xD
Today feels like a day that should be the beginning of a new year; I had totally deleted all the pictures that were really old and crap from my memory stick and...wow, I feel so much better! I could easily see how much I've improved, and clearing them out gives a whole lot more free space in my memory stick. I feel much better about my art, and I'm 'banishing' the old me.
